Lopkender, which belongs to Apocynaceae,is a kind of perennial herbaceous plant or half bush. The taxonomists of China classifies the Lopkender into two genus and three kinds, they are Apocynum L.,Poacynum Baill.and Apocynum venetum L.,Poacynum pictum(Schrenk)Baill.,Poacynum hendersonii(Hook.f.)Woodson..Lopke -nder concentrates in Russia,Central Asia, the Mediterranean coast and Mongolia,India, North-America and other places. In our country,it located in more than 10 provinces, autonomous regions, such as east-China,northeast,north-China and northwest, and Xinjiang is the main distribution area.Recently, the reseach on the bioecological characteristics of Lopkender in the academic circles is focusing more on the the larger species and the wide range, and less on Xinjiang Lopkender concrete research.I have carried on the widespreadly field investigation and the analysis contrast about Lopkender in Xinjiang's different regions, and used the method which the random sampling and model sampling unifies, and seted the sampling sites and had detailed records based on long-term regular observation of the fixed regions.I also made the vegetative organ's paraffin sections of Apocynum venetum L.by means of biological methods, and measured aboveground biomass through hierarchical structure of standard strain(10cm is a sector) , and then carries on the analysis of the material and the data collected,At last studied on the bioecological characteristics of Lopkender in Xinjiang from many aspects:the morphological characteristics, the community characteristics, growth and reproduction characteristics, habitat, dynamic changes of aboveground biomass,as well as the anatomical structures in root, stem and leaf and analyzed its ecology compatibility.(1). If the habitat changes (for example the subsoil water level is too high or too low,the salt alkaloid degree has strengthened and so on),the Lopkender will become other communities, and it often constitution different plant community as the dominant species, subdominant species or the main associated species with salt-tolerant herbage, the bush or the tree;(2). Lopkender, the plant of drought-resistance,salt-resistant,which grows in shallow water,is usually subjected to subsoil water level;(3). The aboveground biomass of Apocynum venetum L.assumes the S shape curve change in the entire growth season, and maximizes in fruit time;the stratification structure distribution of its aboveground biomass correspondingly changes along with the growth time and the height of plant; and with the extension of growth period, the plant's biomass peak value uppers shift gradually, and the biomass proportion has gradually moves to the middle and upper levels from the lower trend ;(4).Through the observation of anatomical structures of Apocynum venetum L.vegetative organ (the root, stem and leaf),it is discovered that its xerophytic shape is obvious, and adapts the climate of the arid and multi-sandstorm in Xinjiang.Investigation is discovered that the Lopkender area sharply decline, the growing trend is feeble, and the adult plant becomes short because of the climate drought, the block of the river, the drop of the subsoil water level,as well as artificial destroys the Lopkender to grow cotton, herding in the wild Lopkender field, the disordered excavation, destruction and so on.Lopkender, which has strong resistance, such as drought-resistant,alkali-resistant,hardy and resistant to poor soil, strong reproducibility, and has very high ecological value, economic value and social value. So,it has important theoretical and practical significance to study it's biological and ecological characteristics. On this basis,I proposed the sustainable development theory, which will not only help to promote local economic development in Xinjiang, but also has positive effect on ecological greening, biodiversity protection, vegetation restoration,sand-fixing and the control of land desertification in Xinjiang.
