| Castanopsis eyrei is a constructive species in evergreen broad-leaved forests in China . This paper is a research on Castanopsis eyrei community in Banqiao Nature reserve of Anhui province. Based on the principles and methods in ecology, the paper is using the quantitative analysis and Software of EXCEL, SPSS, MATLAB and MAPINFO deals with several theoretical aspects of this species, such as community features and structure, species diversity, relationship between species and area, population fluctuation patterns, static life table, dynamics characteristics of population, distribution patterns, inter-specific of dominate species and competition in both Castanopsis eyrei population and other species. The results are as follows:1. The Castanopsis eyrei community at banqiao Nature reserve, characterized bymixed forests consisting of ever-green and deciduous species, is dominated by Castanopsis eyrei, Cyclobalanopsis stewardiana, Pinus massoniana, Rhododendron ovatum. Castanopsis eyrei population is currently in stable type and can't be replaced by other dominate species during a short time . Go on as well it will become declining type and take place by other species after a long time.2. The species diversity in The Castanopsis eyrei community is middling. The relationship between species and area can use the equation : y = 0.3338x0.5881.3. The Castanopsis eyrei populations in most plot follow a contagious patern. With the increment of age and breastdiameter, the population distribution changed from clump to random as the results of the population amount dynamics caused by inner-and inter-population competition.4. Overall, the species in the Castanopsis eyrei populations community shows no significantly negative associations. 50% of the species-pairs in the Castanopsis eyrei community are not have associations, the number of the species-pairs with positive associations is more than its with negative associations. A few of species-pairs are prove to be significantly associations.5. On the competion with the other dominant species, the Castanopsis eyrei population has absolute predominance and will always keep stable for a period of time. The results showed that competition intensity reduced with diameters scale and age of the objective tree increase, was then stable when reached to a certain stage. The relationship of the competition intensity between the competitive tree and the objective tree conforms to inverse function rule and the effect is very good. The model is CI=A+B/S. |
