Cysticercosis,which is known as a social-economic disease in the world ,is an important zoonosis infecting human and pigs caused by Taenia solium larval Cysticercus celluosae. the Cysticercosis cellulosae in our country a wide range of serious harm to human health and restricts the development of the pig farming industry, therefore the effective anticipatory control and diagnoses the Cysticercosis cellulosae is various countries universal attention focal point.A gene encoding TSO18 from Cysticercus cellulosae was amplified by reverse transcript polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique. The PCR product was cloned into the expressing plasmid vector pGEX-4T-1. To study the antibody response in mice immunized with Tsol18 recombinant antigen, the prokaryotic recombinant expression vector pGEX-4T-Tsol18 were induced in large scale and the expressed products were purified with agarose gel FF column and identified using SDS-PAGE and Western blot, respectively. The BALB/c mice were immunized by subcutaneous with different doses of recombinant protein and the antibody response were detected with indirect ELISA at different times after immunization. The results showed that GST-Tsol18 recombinant protein were mainly expressed as soluble form and could be recognized by positive serum of pig Cysticercus cellulose. ELISA assay results showed that after immunization the specific antibodies in mice could be detected from 7 day post immunization and reached the peak at 28 to 49 due to different immune doses. This indicated GST-Tsol18 recombinant protein had good immunogenicity and antigenicity and could be candidates as diagnostic antigen and vaccine antigen in cysticercosis.Carries on the clinical observation to the vaccination immunity's BALB/c mouse, and in different time gathering mouse visceral organ and vaccination spot Muscular tissue, through HE dyeing microscopic exam, except vaccination spot Muscular tissue, in the vaccination initial period has the few inflammations, the discovery obvious pathologi- cal change, the clinical observation has not found the mouse to have Abnormal responds and behavior, showed that this reorganization antigen to the mouse non-toxic negative effects.Tsol18 can be a diagnosis antigen and the vaccine candidate antigen of Cysticercosis cellulosae .
