Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is an important vegetable crop and livelihood are closely related to the masses. Cucumber leaves are an important research traits and the main organs of photosynthesis. Leaves to determine the size of cucumber plants are an important factor in ideotype. Leaves area of the right value, the production has an important guiding significance. On the one hand, it has a significant impact on the production, on the other hand, identification of suitable spacing in the rows and there is a great assist from the ridge. Therefore, the area of cucumber leaves to study even more important. In this study, selected big leaves varieties of D9320 and D2005, small leaves varieties D0455 and D0401, in accordance with the method of complete diallel crosses have been the preparation of 16 combinations, the combination of D0401×D9320 separation in the F2 generation for test of normality, testing genetic model of the area of cucumber leaves. The main results were as followed:(1) F2 segregation population in cucumber leaves area showed a continuous variation and are consistent with the normal distribution. Cucumber leaves area of many genes are controlled by the quantity of genetic.(2) Cucumber leaves area in line with the additive-dominance (AD) genetic model for the dominant effect of the main, there are some additive effect. Note the area of cucumber leaves at Parents will have significant heterosis for hybrid selection of great help, while the area of cucumber leaves and broad-sense heritability and narrow sense heritability high, less affected by the environment.(3) In this study, 116 pairs of SSR primers in the DNA of two parents and between the pool filter, and F2 groups after a single authentication 288, the 4 SSR and cucumber leaves the area of the relevant markers. Construction of the linkage group contains only three SSR loci, a locus on linkage group is not at that CSWACC03, CSWCT05BZ, CSCTTT15a on the same linkage group, the distance between markers were 29.0cM and 39.3cM, the total length of linkage groups 68.3cM, the average distance between markers 34.2cM.(4) Preliminary positioning through QTL analysis, detected with a cucumber leaves area QTL related sites, located in the genetic map of linkage group CSWACC03-CSCTTT15a, specific at CSWCT05BZ-Qchl1-CSCTTT15a between the primers, and CSCTTT15a closer distance for the 3.6 cM , the corresponding LOD value of 2.97, 8.65% explain the genetic variation.
