This study includes four parts. The first and the second part were conducted to study the effects of isoacids on goat rumen fermentation. The third part was to find the better products of mixed isoacids through experiments. The last one was conducted to study the effect of Na salt of isoacids on the growth and nitrogen metabolism of goats.Exp.1 The effect of mixed Isoacids on Goat Rumen FermentationIn vitro gas production was conducted to study the effect of different isoacids on goat rumen fermentation. A single factorial trial was designed. Isoacids was supplemented with 0.2% mixed isoacids, 0.9% isobutyrate, 0.3% 2-methylbutyrat, 0.6% valeric acid, 0.3% isovalerate, and each level included 4 repetitions. after the volume of gas production(GP) was recorded, the degradation of neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and the bacteria nitrogen were detected. The results demonstrated that compared with other groups, the mixed isoacids group has the upmost GP and bacteria nitrogen in the experiment (P<0.05), and the degradation of NDF has no difference among each group (P>0.05). It can be concluded that the mixed isoacids to achieve better effect to improve goat rumen fermentation in this experiment.Exp.2 The effect of Na salt of Isoacids and urea on Goat Rumen Fermentation in Vitro Gas ProductionIn vitro gas production was conducted to study the effect of Na salt of mixed isoacids(NaS-VFA) and urea on goat rumen fermentation. A single factorial trial was designed. Five treatment were proposed as NaS-VFA and 0% of urea, NaS-VFA and 0.3% of urea, NaS-VFA and 0.6% of urea, NaS-VFA and 0.9% of urea and a control group and each level included 4 repetitions. After the volume of gas production(GP) was recorded, the degradation of neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and the bacteria nitrogen(BN) were detected. The results demonstrated that GP has no difference among each group (P>0.05), BN and degradation of NDF decreased with increase urea. The 0.9 urea group has the lowest degradation of NDF and notable lower than 0 urea and control group. (P<0.05). In this experiment, urea decrease rumen fermentation in vitro when NaS-VFA was added at the same time.Exp.3 preparation of composite isoacids additivesIn this experiment, different methods were used to prepare the production of composite isoacids. Adsorption, inclusion, coating, and salt and other methods were used as a way to find the best methods of preparation the additives. The result show that the blending of salt of isoacids and other given additions most suitable to be used in the future.Exp.4 the function of composite isoacids additives on the growth and nitrogen metabolism of goatsTwelve healthy and growing goats were divided into three groups. The supplemental level of Na salt of mixed isoacids of each group in the base diet was 0, 0.3%, 0.5%. The weight gain and the nitrogen metabolism were measured. The result shows that the 0.3% Na salt of isoacids achieve the upmost forage consume (P>0.5) and weight gain (P<0.05). Add isoacids increase the volume of urine purine derivatives (P<0.5).
