In this research, 62 isolates of wild edible fungi were obtained from 156 samples. With the development of biotechnology, molecular methods such as RAPD, SRAP and ISSR were used to identify fungal species based on mycelium DNA. The ITS region of rDNA was amplified from fungal total DNA, then their sequences were compared through database on Internet followed by sequencing.Colony traits and mycelial chacteristics were studied in the test to evaluate fungal resourse outdoors, growth rate and fruit-formed test were also employed to estimate quality and quantity of the wild edible fungi just as well. Results indicated that Lentinula edodes collected from different locations shared different ability in forming fruit. Meanwhile, different strains isolated from the same place also had different fruit-formed ability, which can facilated producion and practice of edible fungi in our lives.
