Soil erosion in gully region of the Loess Plateau is severe,bad ecological environment restrict the whole area to be a sound development.As an important method to improve the ecological environment of gully region of the Loess Plateau,influence of integrated soil and water erosion management on society,economic and ecological environment development in rural area is an important content of its benefit evaluation.The goal of evaluation is to provide government with the scientific proof to formulate and regulate the policies of integrated soil and water erosion management.The paper focused on the demands above,and based on the Principle of Soil and Water Conservation,Economic Geography,sustainable development theory and math method,etc...Selected XiFeng soil erosion area,collected its rural area society and economic statistic data.Through establishing Evaluation Index System and using AHP to gain the weight of index,the paper computed its membership degree of comprehensive development and coordination degree of sustainable development by using Fuzzy Mathematics and Statistics.Then system evaluated the benefit of integrated soil and water erosion management to XiFeng rural development.It drew important conclusions as following:1.From 1996 to 2007,each evaluation indexes had significantly improve,the benefit of soil and water conservation is apparent.The Gross Agricultural Output Value on 2007 was 2 times on 1996,the per capita net income in rural had increased 117.45%from 1996,on 2007 almost 2/3 erosion area had been controlled.2.By computing,all XiFeng's membership degree of society,economic and ecological were promoted.The membership degree of comprehensive development was 0.249 on 1996 and up to 0.699 on 2007.Soil and water conservation has a great promotion to the development of XiFeng's rural.3.The coordinated development degree was 0.377 on 1996 and upgraded to 0.789 on 2007.
