The city is an important region for human social activities. Constructing scientific and reasonable urban forest is an effective way to construct harmonious city environment. This paper chose the typical and local tree species Tilia amurensis and adopted the method of outdoor orientation observation combining with indoor analysis. We analysed synthetically ecological function of Tilia amurensis through the filtrating the optimized ecological benefit evaluation index and ecological value by calculation. And at the same time, combined survey and evaluation of landscape function of Tilia amurensis, we studied generally on the adoption of it in the urban habitat, which offered reference for enriching and optimizing urban forest tree species in Harbin and diversity of urban forest system.The ability of fixing carbon and releasing oxide, decreasing temperature and increasing humidity, killing bacterium, absorbing heavy metal of Tilia amurensis leaves acreage per unit presented dynamic changes in city, but there were no obvious difference between average level and outdoor growth, which indicated that the ecological function of maintaining carbon and oxide balance, relaxing heat island effect, improving urban microclimate ect. of Tilia amurensis was basically consistent in different habitat. But the dust-absorbing capacity and absorbing SO2 capacity was different obviously of Tilia amurensis leaves acreage per unit, absorbing SO2 capacity, reducing environment pollution capacity was stronger relatively in urban habitat, which reflected that Tilia amurensis could improve personal adoption to exert its ecological function in urban habitat, therefore, it was generalized as the urban forest species. Morever, we also found that ecological function of single plant of Tilia amurensis was relatively closely with total leaves acreage, the bigger the leaves acreage was, the better the ecological function was.The ecological function value was evaluated quantitatively to single plant of Tilia amurensis by trying microscale figuring method. The resulted indicated that the benefit brought by decreasing temperature and increasing humidity capacity was the most distinct, was 282.88y/a and 82.29y/a respectively; secondly fixing carbon and releasing oxide benefit, was 21.77y/a and 15.08y/a respectively; cleansing the air and absorbing SO2 benefit was little relatively, only 0.46y/a和0.34y/a, thus it can be seen, Tilia amurensis brought high economic benefit in relaxing hot island effect and improving urban microclimate and the value quality was considerable.The landscape function of 18 landscape factors of Tilia amurensis was evaluated landscape scale judgement method and got over 58% better evaluation , which indicated that the landscape function of Tilia amurensis was excellent; according to the order of landscape factors , the first five landscape factors were that "the leaves were colourful in spring and autumn", "the bract was fancy", "the growth was better", "the divarication point was high" ,"the trunk was straight", what the evaluation factor is the optimal characteristics of street tree. Tilia amurensis can be not only introduced to the construction of urban environment in Harbin, but also planted in urban protection greenbelt as urban forest tree species through considering ecological and landscape function.
