| Objective:In this study,the pharmacokinetics difference of florfenicol between sucking pig and weaned pig after injection were investigated,for the sake of intelligent use of florfenicol in veterinary clinical.Methods:Six sucking pigs and six weaned pig were chosen to inject florfenicol at the dose of 15mg/kg.bw respectively.The serum sample were collected at different time points in 24h and then exacted with ethyl acetate twice times and detected by a HPLC-DAD method.The content-time data were obtained and analyzed with PKS pharmacokinetics software to get pharmacokinetics data.Results:The compartmental model of sucking pig belongs to two compartmental model,the pharmacokinetics data were as follows:t1/2α=62.12min,t1/2β= 284.84min, AUC=75837μg·mL-1·h,tmax=100.00min,Cmax=118.96mg/L.The compartmental model of sucking pig belongs to one compartmental model,the pharmacokinetics data were asfollows:t1/2α=16.44min,t1/2β=305.10min,AUC=76908μg·mL-1·h,tmax=69.38min,Cmax= 148.05mg/L.There were no significant difference of body clearance and apparent volume of distribution between sucking pig and weaned pig.Conclusion:After the injection of florfenicol at the same dosage to sucking pig and weaned pig,the pharmacokinetics data belongs to different compartmental model, there were significant differences on the course of florfenicol absorb,as well,there were no significant differences on the course of clearance in pigs.
