Many biotechnologies have been applied in the study of mushrooms identification with the development of molecular biology from the finding of DNA double helix structure .Currently the commonly used technologies include the RAPD, RFLP, SCAR and ITS sequence analysis etc.Among them, the accuracy of ITS sequence analysis is better than the others on identifying the mushrooms,so it has been wildy applied. In this study, 91 wild mushroom strains were isolated and collected in Fujian province. All the strains were identified on the basis of morphological characteristics primarily, meanwhile combining the results of the ITS sequence analysis and vegetative characteristics study, the results of comprehensive identification are as follows:1. Heterobasidiae:Auriculariales 5 strains, the original identification of Au.a0081 was wrong, changing its scientific name into the Auricularia polytricha.2. Homobasidiae:Exobasidiales 34 strains,2 strains were polluted by the mixed fungi,12 strains were renamed after comprehensive identification;Agarricales,45 strains,18 strains were renamed after comprehensive identification, the Sp.sp0203 was isolated into the species of Calvatia erroneously . Sp.sp0237 was isolated into the species of Ganoderma erroneously;Sclerodermatales 1 strain , finding its original identification was correct after comprehensive identification ;Hymenogastrales 1 strain ,thinking its original identification was correct after comprehensive identification;Lycoperdales 3 strains , thinking its original identification was correct after comprehensive identification.3. Hemiascomycetes:Xylariales 1 strain Sp.sp0285 was renamed as Hypocrea voglmayrii after comprehensive identificationBesides, another strain could not be identified out.
