Genetic varation of Portunus trituberculatus wich from four fisheries (Dandong,Laizhouwan,Haizhouwan,Zhoushan)was analyzed using multianalysis study,and AFLP technique.And the effects of morphometric on body weight were analyzed,using correlation analysis and path analysis.The main results were shown:Cluster analysis,and One-Way ANOVA analysis were adopted during the analytical process.Based on 8 morphological characters of each P.trituberculatus from four gulfs,cluster analysis were conducted.Swimming crabs from Haizhou Gulf and Zhoushan were pooled into one group while crabs from Dandong and Laizhou Gulf were pooled into another group by cluster analysis.One-Way ANOVA was conducted on 7 proportional parameters.Results showed that some proportional parameters were significantly different among four populations.In this study all results supported that there were some morphological differences among the four populations,but variations of all the morphological traits were not characterized under-subspecies.Thus integrative analysis was needed to distinguish accurately all geographic populations.Based on 7 morphological characters of each Portunus trituberculatus from four wild geographic populations,Judging from the result of high correlation index the main variables(X1,X2,X3,X4,X5 ) have been selected.The multiple regression equation of the full carapace width(X1),first obital margin width (X2) carapacel width(X3),carapacel length(X4),and fixed finger length of the claw(X5) to the body weight is obtained to estimate body weight.This paper provide a theoretical tool to measure breeding blue crab in aquaculture. The AFLP markers were applied to detection of genetic variation between the Portunus triuberbuculatus from four wild geographic populations.Five pair AFLP selective primers scanned 30 samples from each population and 115 AFLP loci were recorded.Based on the results from POPGENE,the polymorphic loci(P0.99) of Yalvjiangkou,Laizhou Gulf,Zhoushan,and Haizhou Gulf are 43.69%,44.34%, 43.93%,41.35%,the Shannon index of Yalvjiangkou,Laizhou Gulf,Zhoushan,and Haizhou Gulf are 0.1501,0.1577,0.1450,0.1559.89.6%of genetic varation of Portunus trituberculatus between 4 populations originate from the population inner, only 10.94%from the population difference.Dendrogram constructed by the genetic distances among four populations showed that there were two different groups.One group was composed of Portunus triuberbuculatus form Yalvjiangkou and Laizhou Gulf,the other consisted in Portunus triuberbuculatus from Zhoushan and Haizhou Gulf..
