Study On Organic Soilless Growing Substrates And Turf Seed Belt Materials

Because the study was that the organic soilless growing substrates were instead of turf,now we pay more attention to the study.The experiment was done in Xi Shah Forestry in Hai Dian Bureau of Beijing.We chose some raw material of substrates with full consideration of the abundant natural resources in the place and the materials being easily to find.By analysing the physical and chemical characters of different substrates materials,we:mixed these materials in volumetric proportions,the experiment was divided into two parts.The first part's purpose is to further study the mixed formula of humus,which was on base of the previous experiment.It was made four organic soilless growing substrates,which called A1,A2,A3, A4.(A1 was made by three volumes of the Humus,one volume of ashes burnt by plants,four volumes of riversand.A2 was made by two volumes of the Humus,two volumes of the litter fall and three volumes of ashes burnt by plants.A3 was made by one volume of the Humus,two volumes of the litter fall,one volume of ashes burnt by plants and two volumes of riversand.A4 was made by three volumes of the Humus,one volume of the litter fall and one volume of ashes burnt by plants);uper absorbent polymer,Chicken manure,diammoniurn phosphate and potassium chloride.Sow Festuca arundinacea seed on the four growing substrates,filled them in the belts which were made by nonwoven Fabrics and put them on the steel wire.By analyzing the growth and physiological indexes,we chose the best growing substrates.The results are as follows:By analyzing the growth and physiological indexes,A4 is the best growing substrate formula which is suit for grass seed.The second part which was on the base of the first part,the purpose is to study on the humus and other organic materials which is the best;It was made six organic soilless growing substrates,which called A1,A2,A3,A4,A5,A6(A1 was made by five volumes of the Humus,three volumes of the litter fall,two volumes of slag.A2 was made by one volume of ashes burnt by plants and nine volumes of sawdust.A3 was made by four volumes of corn stalks and one volume of slag.A4 was made by one volume of the Humus,one volume of ashes burnt by plants,eight volumes of sawdust.A5 was made by one volume of ashes burnt by plants,ten volumes of corn stalk and nine volumes of sawdust.A6 was made by three volumes of the Humus,one volume of the litter fall and one volume of ashes burnt by plants);upper absorbent polymer,Chicken manure,diammonium phosphate and potassium chloride which was the same as the first part.A6 was the first part's best formula A4;We chose two parts' same formula to do germination test,and determined to sow Lolium perenne L.seed on the second part's six growing substrates,filled them in the belts which were made by gauze on the top and cotton cloth in the base and nonwoven Fabrics,put them on the steel wire.By analyzing the growth and physiological indexes which was the same as the first part,then we chose the best growing substrates and the best turf seed belt material.The results are as follows:By analyzing the growth and physiological indexes,A1 is the best growing substrate formula in the two kinds of belts,A6 is taken second place;The formula which contains humus is better than the formula which not contain humus.Then we analyzed the growth and physiological indexes whether Lolium perenne L.in the two kinds of belts have more differences,the result is that two kinds of belts have no more differences;we compared their cost,then the hop-pocket was made by nonwoven Fabrics is the material;So Al formula and nonwoven Fabrics are the best materials.
