Pseudosciaena crocea belongs to Sciaenidae croaker(cucumber fish,ivy gourd,yellow croaker etc.),which is a specific locality race in china.With the artificial rearing technique of Pseudosciaena crocea Maturation and Perfection, cage culture Pseudosciaena crocea has a rapid development, mainly modes of culture Pseudosciaena crocea are enclosure culture and the traditional cage culture . It was discovered that Pseudosciaena crocea with enclosure culture had better quality ( body colo, meat quality, etc )than the Pseudosciaena crocea with the traditional cage,which was comparable to the wild race.The study with the same or similar conditions in species,food,aquaculture waters,culture cycle,and other factors,which through one year continuouly testing the water quality factor in two different culture modes(enclosure culture,traditional cage) and testing the quality of adult Pseudosciaena crocea to make comparative analysis,taking wild ones as control group. The purpose is to discussion the impact of culture mode in the quality of Pseudosciaena crocea,and as a reference for the Pseudosciaena crocea quality improvement.Conclusions are as follows:1. In the enclosure culture, water quality factor of seawater temperature,pH,salinity in enclosure culture is close to the traditional cage's(P>0.05). Between enclosing culture and traditional cage, the content of dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide were higher(P<0.05).2.The body color of Pseudosciaena crocea in enclosure culture was better than the traditional cage's (P<0.05).3.Between enclosing culture and traditional cage, the crude protein, total amino acids, total flavor amino acids, total delicious amino acids and total polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in enclosure culture were higher(P<0.05); The crude fat, total saturated fatty acids(SFA) and total monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFA) were lower(P<0.05); they were no significant difference (P>0.05) in the pH value, moisture and crude ash.4.The sensory evaluation of muscle in enclosure culture was better than traditional cage (P<0.05).5. Pseudosciaena crocea with enclosure culture had better quality than the Pseudosciaena crocea with the traditional cage(P < 0.05),which was comparable to the wild race(P > 0.05). The enclosure culture improved Pseudosciaena crocea cultivation environment, which is a possibility way to improve the quality of Pseudosciaena crocea.
