In this paper,the fiber crystallinity and other quality characters of 55 ramie varieties chosen from ramie Garden of National Germplasm are studied.1. Analysis of ramie fiber crystallinity and other mian quality characters of raime with different species ande season55 varieties of ramie fiber crystallinity average variation in between 69%~73%, Coefficient of variation is 0.9769%. The varieties of lowest fiber crystallinity is Chuanzhuerhao and the value is 69.03%; The varieties of highest fiber crystallinity is Yinnima and the value is 72.31%; Ramie fiber crystallinity have some difference in different varieties and in the the same varieties which in different seasons.The highest ramie fiber crystallinity is Dongkouqingma of the second cut in 2007 and the value is 74.28%. The lowest ramie fiber crystallinity is Longnandouma of the first cut in 2006and the value is 63.17%. Some varieties of fiber crystallinity has a significant difference in 55 ramie varieties,the lowest fiber crystallinity of the same varieties in different seasons is the seconed cut and the value is 70.28%; the highest fiber crystallinity of the same varieties in different seasons is the third cut and the value is 70.85%; the first cut have no significant difference with the third cut;the seconed cut have significant difference with the first cut and the third cut .Among 55 varieties studied,the fineness of Longtangbaima of the seconed cut in 2006 is the highestand the value is 3711 g/m; The fineness of Chuanzhuerhao of the third cut in 2006 is the lowest and the value is 1333 g/m; The breaking strength of Chuanzhuerhao of the seconed cut in 2007 is the highest and the value is 60.52 cN; The breaking strength of NC03 of the third cut in 2005 is the lowest and the value is 21.70 cN;The breaking tenacity of Yuanjingrouma of the third cut in 2005 is the highest and the value is 9.39%; The breaking tenacity of Congdoumayihao of the second cut in 2006 is the lowest and the value is 3.87%;The average fiber fineness of 55 ramie varieties which range is 1578~3340 g/m; Coefficient of variation is 14.73%, The average fiber fineness of 55 ramie varieties have large variation and Significant difference . The average fiber breaking strength of 55 ramie varieties which range is 27.59cN-53.51cN; Coefficient of variation is 13.64%, The average fiber breaking strength of 55 ramie varieties have large variation and Significant difference . The average fiber breaking tenacity of 55 ramie varieties which range is 4.97%-6.87%; Coefficient of variation is 6.48%, The average fiber breaking tenacity of 55 ramie varieties have no Significant difference .2. The correlation and the establishment of the regression equation Between the Quality Character and Clustering on the Intergrated Quality CharacterThe result shows that the correlation between crystallinity and breaking strength is extremely significant and the coefficient is -0.39526**(n = 55); the correlation between crystallinity and fineness is extremely significant and the coefficient is 0.31363*(n = 55). The regression equation between fiber crystallinity and fiber breaking strength is y=-2.9324x+244.37.The 55 ramie varieties are divided into five groups through clustering on the integrated quality character. From good to bad of integrated quality character,the order is the 5th group > the 3rd group > the 2nd group > the 4th group > the 1st group. The integrated quality character of the varieries of the 5th group and the 3rd group is relatively good,and these varieties can be used in ramie breeding.3. The difference of Ramie fiber crystallinity in different harvest period and different partsThe ramie fieber crystallinity of Zhongzhuyihao,Yuanyeqing,NC01 have Significant difference between 1/3 black rod period and the period before 1/3 black rod. Harvesting ramie before 1/3 black rod can significantly reduce the degree of crystallinity, but will reduce the output of ramie. The ramie fieber crystallinity of Zhongzhuyihao,Yuanyeqing,NC01 have no Significant difference after 1/2 black rod period and become stability.The ramie fieber crystallinity of different parts (The top,The middle ,The root)have no Significant difference.4. The Genetic variation of ramie and The crystallinity Comparison between the crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiberThe crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiber respectively have corresponding correlation coefficient in six seasons , Make an overall analysis about the crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiber in six seasons,we can find that the overall correlation coefficient is 0.01871,The result shows that The crystallinity of the fined ramie and the crude ramie which from the same ramie species are have weak correlation or basic no correlation. But there are some regularity about the relevance between the the crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiber,It shows that the highest correlation coefficient between the the the crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiber is in the third cut, the lowesr correlation coefficient between the the the crude ramie fiber and the fined ramie fiber is in the first cut, the seconed cut is in the middle. Among ramie genetic variation studied,The bloke of 5 parents and 10 hybrid combination which in the seconed cut and the third cut have no significant variance. The 5 parents and 10 hybrid combination aslo have no significant variance. Because of that, we can not continue to analyse the combining ability and heritability.
