Presented in this paper is on the comparison of ecological effect between two representative areas which are located in Zuibaichi Park and Sixian Park in Songjiang district in Shanghai.Carbon-mixing,temperature-decreasing and humidity-increasing and the concentration of aero ion are the content in this paper.The data is observed by precise instruments.The fomula that predecessors have summarized in combination with the data which are tested can calculate and compare the quantity of the representative area.The prominent plants can be selected by comparison.The resultsof comparison are as follows:(1) As far as the plants,it is illustrated that the plants which have quanlity of carbon-fixation and oxygen-release are Canna indica,Ophiopogon japonicus,Ilex cornuta,Fatsia japonica,Aucuba japonica 'Variegata',Forsythia iridissima,Liriope spicata,Pittosporum tobira,Camellia japonica,Rhododendron simsii;and Ophiopogon japonicus,Liriope spicata,Buxus microphylla,Pittosporum tobira,Cercis chinensis,Cinnamomum camphora,Fatsia japonica have a good quanlity of humidity-increase;and Ophiopogon japonicus,Lagerstroemia indica,Edgeworthia chrysantha,Canna indica,Ilex cornuta,Cercis chinensis,Rhododendron simsii are decreasing temperature remarkably.(2) In terms of representative areas,in the aspect of unit area,the quantity of total effect of carbon-fixation and oxygen-release in Sixian park's representative areas is 11375.8 mol·d-1·m-2, and the quantity in Zuibaichi park is 10127.9 mol·d-1·m-2,and on comparison,the effect in Sixian park's is better than in Zuibaichi park's;as for the average humidity,Sixian park's representative areas increased by 4.5%compared to 3.3%in Zuibaichi's,and the result is that the effect of temperature-decrease and humidty-increase in Sixian's Park is better than in Zuibaichi's;on the aspect of decreasing temperature,Sixian's representative's quanlity of temperature-decrease is better than in Zuibaichi's;and the concentration of aero ion in Sixian Park is higher than in Zuibaichi in four seasons,and the concentration in two representative areas are higher than 700 that is benefit to the people.(3) Sixian's representative area's ecological effect is better than Zuibaichi's,so Sixian's representative's configuration is more proper.And if Aucuba japonica 'Variegata' Cinnamomum camphora,Ilex cornuta,Canna indica,Ophiopogon japonicus,Fatsia japonica,Forsythia iridissima,Liriope spicata,Pittosporum tobira,Rhododendron simsii,Camellia japonica,Lagerstroemia indica,Cercis chinensis,Edgeworthia chrysantha combine together,the total ecological effect is best.
