This article determines the effect on four kinds of CAM plants absorbing benzene under three different concentration,as well as the change of physiological index under short-term different concentration and sustained benzene stress.Observe the change of the leaf ultrastructurejonquil on Kalanchoe blossfeldiana and Zygocactus truncatus under the high concentration benzene stress.Estimate synthetically the ability of four kinds of CAM plants purifying benzene and the resistance to benzene stress based on those date. The research results are as follows:(1)According to the absorbance of the entire plant to benzene:Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii'>Zygocactus truncatus>Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort>Kalanchoe blossfeldiana;according to the absorbance of plant leaves:Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii'>Kalanchoe blossfeldiana>Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort>Zygocactus truncatus;according to the absorbance of soil and plant root:Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort>Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii'>Zygocactus truncatus>Kalanchoe blossfeldiana.Take entire plant as main factor to evaluate the ability of plants absorbing benzene,on the ability of purifying benzene Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii' is the strongest in four kinds of CAM plants,Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is the weakest.(2) Multiple comparisons analysis indicate the purifying benzene ability in the different varieties of plants has not significant difference, and has obvious difference with the time.(3) Determine the change of physiological index under different concentration and sustained benzene stress, experimental result shows that under different concentration benzene stress the resistance of Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii' is the strongest, Zygocactus truncatus and Kalanchoe blossfeldiana secondly,Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort is the weakest;under sustained benzene stress the resistance of Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii' is the strongest,Kalanchoe blossfeldiana and Zygocactus truncatus secondly,Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort is the weakest.(4) Use transmission electron microscopy to observe the change of the leaf ultrastructurejonquil of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana and Zygocactus truncatus under benzene stress, experimental result shows the chloroplast organization is destructed, has inordinate swelling or decomposes completely;thylakoids becomes swollen, stroma lamella and grana lamella of chloroplast are distorted, cellular outer membrane dissolves away, and there is lesions on chloroplast, starchgranule decomposes;mitochondria gets swelling, vacuoles appeared, the mitochondrial cristae is reduced.(5) Join up the absorptivity of CAM plants and the resistance under benzene stress, the result shows that the absorptivity and resistance of Sansevieria trifasciata 'Lanrentii' is the strongest;the absorptivity of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is the weakest;the resistance of Agave attenuata L.Var.Marginata Hort is the weakest.
