This experiment was conducted to study the effect of different proportion of NFC and RDP prepartum on the performance and serum hormone in cows. The main objective is looking for a diet prepartum with a suitable propotion of NFC and RDP for cows and learning about the characteristic of energy and nitrogen metabolism.1.Effect of Different Proportion of NFC and RDP prepartum on the Performance in CowsForty-eight healthy transition cows were randomly allocated into six groups and respectively fed diets with different proportion of NFC and RDP as follows : 5.14(â… ),3.46(â…¡),4.00(â…¢),5.12(â…£),3.33(â…¤),2.87(â…¥)during the last 28 days before the expected calving date .The result showed DMI and milk production in cows fed dietâ…¢(4.00) were significantly higher than others(P<0.05),the difference of milk composition among six groups were not significant(P>0.05).2.Effect of Different Proportion of NFC and RDP prepartum on the Serum Hormone in CowsThe animal and diet were same as experiment1. The result showed leptin concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢( 4.00) were significantly higher than others(P<0.01) ; Insulin and Pancreas Glucagon concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢(4.00)were lower than other groups; Thyroxine concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢(4.00) were significantly higher than others on the 1st day and 7th day after calving ;E2 and PRL concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢(4.00)were significantly higher than others(P<0.05) on the 1st day and 7th day after calving;LH and FSH concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢(4.00) were significantly higher than others(P<0.01) on the 1st day and 7th day after calving; PTH concentration in cows fed dietâ…¢( 4.00) were significantly higher than others(P<0.05) on the 1st day and 7th day after calving.
