With the changes in climatic conditions ,tea varities ,planting ways and entironment of tea plantations, tea fulgora have become major pets from secondary pets. The main varities include Geisha distinctissima, Ricania cacaonis, Ricania speculum, Ricania taeniata, Euricania ocellus, Euricania fascialis, the first four varities rifily happen in Jangsu province.Accroding to the results of biological characteristics to the major tea fulgora, all tea fulgora have one genetation in one year, Ricania cacaonis , Geisha distinctissima and Ricania taeniata have two genetations in one year but others have one genetaion .We measured the developmental zero of 10.81℃and effctive accumulated temperature of 368.0 day degree to Ricania cacaonis,which occured the most seriously. when it has the maximum development rate in egg stage ,the temperature is 34.82℃. when the fifth instar nymph period, it is 35.11℃. And throughout all the nymph period, it is 33.73℃.It's egg and nymph have stronge adaptability to temperature.In order to learning the more regularity, forecasting the accurate occurred situtation and taking effective control method,we have researched the hibernating eggs'spatial distribution to tea fulgora accroding to the aggregation index, distribution index and Iwao index. The results showed that the hibernating eggs present as aggregated distribution ,which is coursed by the enbiromental factors. It mainly inculdes the changes of pruning pattern and the surrounding forest. Accroding to the law of vertical distribution ,which is that the percent of h≤10% is 87.3% ,1020 is 0.95%,we considered that most hibernating eggs distribute on crown surface.In order to further improve the frecast accuracy, we have builded quadratic regression equation model of y=1.2474-8.5345x+30.1425x2 and exponential model of y=0.0263e5.6437x (y means egg density and x means the rate of egg branches) for the relationship between the rate of egg branches and amount of eggs to Ricania cacaonis. With testing goodness of fit, we find singnificant level to the correlation between fitted value and true value. The speed of sampling egg branches is 3.44to 4.66 times as quickly as all branches at the same time,and it has raised invedtigation efficiency substantially.Basing on agricultural control,we have researched effectiveness of the chemical prevention by using organo-chlorine pesticide which is high-efficiency, low-toxic and easily degradable.Accroding to using thiodan and different proportions of the admixture of thiodan and abamectin in the field, the result showed that 35%-thiodan EC and 25%-thiodan EC mixed with 1%-abamectin EC had best effects. The dosage of 35%-thiodan EC is 25g/mu. The dosage of 25%-thiodan mixed with abamectin-1EC,the dosage of 25%-thiodan mixed with abamectin-2EC and the dosage of 25%-thiodan mixed with abamectin-3EC are 7.5-10g/mu. The single reagent of thiodan and the admixture of abamectin all have more actue control than the single of abamectin.As a new tea pest, Large numbers of research have done to tea fulgora, but there still have much work to do , such as the method to forecasting emergence period, the influence of one kind of tea fulgora to the other kinds, the effective of physical control and other control methods.All of these must to be have further investigation...
