Bactrocera(Tetradacus) minax(Enderlein),is a sort of destructive quarantine pest in hunan province and it have serious threaten to the production of oranges.The morphological characteristics and biological of Bactrocera(Tetradacus) minax(Enderlein) at different stage in its lifecycle were involed in this article.And there is also contained the extent of harm and species of preferring fruits.At different temperatures --- 0℃,3℃,10℃,15℃,21℃and 6.5℃temperature control of natural circumstances that we had experimenced.Another,the length of time dealing with water is also a direct impact on the Tetradacus citri(Chen) emergence and survival rate.By compared the Trichlorfon with sugar trap,Dragon lantern lure,fly trap hunting,we can conclusion:The first,collected the result of Tetradacus citri(Chen) that occur in Hunan provience,and have been known the areas and extent of destroy.Oranges,mandarin orange,grapefruit are main harmed by Tetradacus citri(Chen) in Hunan provience. the harmful extent is as follow:orange,mandarin orange,grapefruit.Second,the pupae of Tetradacus citri(Chen) were totally can not eclosion under the condition of 0℃or 21℃dealing with 30 days.under the conditions of 10℃the emergence of dealing pupae eclosion rate is 68.3%-76.7%,under the conditions of 15℃dealling with 30 days,the eclosion rate is obvious decline,only 33.3%.Room temperature processing of natural pupae,the emergence rate is 71.7%- 81.7%.Third,the length of time dealing with water is directly impact on the Tetradacus citri(Chen) emergence and survival rate.there is no obvious effect on pupae within 3 days.but the day that eclosion has to delay 3 or 4 days.The eclosion rate reduced 10-20%and delay 10 days.while the eclosion rate reduced 30-45%watering 7 days, and eclosion delay 13 days,watering 9 days the eclosion rate reduced 45-60%,and eclosion delay 18-19 days.it were all died if watering 12 days.The last,the results showed that the fly trap hunting better than Trichlorfon with sugar trap,Dragon lantern lure and conventional pharmaceutical trap.The rate that Fly trap hunting acted on female and male is about 1 to 1,no rudimental to environment and its effect is obviously excelled traditional.reagent.
