| In Northwest China, the scarcity of water resources has been incompatible with the local agriculture and economic development. It has been established a large number of water supporting conservancy in order to utilize and manage local water resources more rationally and effectively. It is a question of the first importance for the effective utilization of local water resources that how to organize and model the complex hydrological data in the irrigation district. The development of GIS technology provides an effective means for the above-mentioned problems.In this paper, hydrological data of Changma irrigation district organized based on object-oriented Geodatabase. By describing the ArcHydro data model, this paper proposed the modeling ideas, organizational lines and framework for the hydrological data of irrigation district. The topology based on ArcHydro data model build a model of hydrological networks for irrigation district, which resolved the problem of level difference and poor sharing,interchangeability and scalability. The model connected the geographic features information of hydrological object with the catchment basin and fully expressed the space relationship of the hydrological features. It encoded the information of water conservancy facilities which satisfied the management of irrigation district and enabled to trace the downstream or upstream for a certain position on the drainage. Besides, it established the hydrological connections among the streams that expressed the hydrologic characteristics of hydrological system in irrigation district.There is a great deal of hydrological data related to time and space. In this paper, the study also focused on the integration, query, analysis of hydrological time series data in irrigation district and geospatial data describing the surroundings geography based on hydrological modeling of irrigation district and hydrological networks of irrigation district. |
