This paper is divided into five parts focus on: Harmonia axyridis French population of low-flying ability morphological characteristics observation; Harmonia axyridis French population of low-flying ability preliminary study; Individual flight capacity of Harmonia axyridis French population and Local populations were compared; Flight distance of Harmonia axyridis France population and the local population were compared in the field; The effect of Harmonia axyridis France population preying on bean aphids under different levels of space. Our purpose was to use lower flight Harmonia axyridis reasonably control aphid which damages on the field, and more effectively play important role on the natural enemies of insect pests, provide a theoretical basis for agricultural production. The results showed that:(1) Harmonia axyridis French population of low-flying ability were observed on morphological characteristics, the adult body length 514 ~ 810 mm, width of 318 ~ 512 mm, Oval, hemisphere-Gongqi, smooth without the back hair, it seems half of Soybeans size, the back color stripe variability was large, but the end of all Coleoptera has tooth marks, This was a significant characteristic on Harmonia axyridis. Two geographic populations of larvae and adult morphological characteristics are similar.(2) The fecundity of Harmonia axyridis on local population was slightly larger than low-flying ability Harmonia axyridis French population, with the quarry increasing, the fecundity increasing, two populations were no significant difference. The average weight of Harmonia axyridis local population is 0.0433±0.113g, and the weight of Harmonia axyridis French population is 0.0412±0.0087, with t-test analysis, the local population and the French population there is no significant difference.(3) The flight frequency, flight speed, the distance of once continuance flight of France population individual were remarkably lower than local population. The distance of once continuance flight and average interval flight time of two treatment were remarkably difference. For the time of once continuance flight, the flight time of France Harmonia axyridis population individual was remarkably lower than Beijing local population, it was 3.67±0.27 min, 7.75 % of latter. The other way round, the average interval flight time of France Harmonia axyridis population was 55.08±3.88 min, it was 2.9 times than Beijing local population. The flight speed of France Harmonia axyridis population individual was great breadth shock at lower level, then abruptly went to raise, and presented shock trend at higher level. After 10 hours, The flight time descend, then repeated anaphase, but the flight time achieved the lowest. Through regression analysis for flight speed and flight time, it showed that the regression curve was hyperbola, the regression equation was y = - 0.003x2 + 0.088x + 0.078, Rsq = 0.313. The change of flight speed of Beijing local population had definite shock, but it was remarkably weaken than France Harmonia axyridis population for shock breadth. The flight speed retain lower level, and persist 2-3 hours, then ascend sudden in shorter time range, and shock balanced for twice when achieved the maximum. The flight speed descend to the flight level forepart, and balanced gradually. Through regression analysis for flight speed and flight time, it showed that the regression curve was hyperbola, the regression equation was y = - 0.051x~2 + 1.338x– 3.007,Rsq = 0.817。(4) The flight distance of Harmonia axyridis French population of low-flying ability and local population were remarkably difference, the flight ability of France Harmonia axyridis population was remarkably lower than local population, the maximal flight distance of France Harmonia axyridis population which has lower flight ability was 240cm, and the least was 3cm, for local population, the maximal flight distance was 480cm, and the least was 13cm.The magnitude of France Harmonia axyridis population which collected was most in 40-80cm range, the farrest distance, the lest magnitude of France Harmonia axyridis population which collected, there was no France Harmonia axyridis population which collected in 200-300cm range, but for local population, The magnitude which collected was most in 120-150cm range, with the distance farest, the collected magnitude more, then gradually balanced.(5) Responses of different development stages (immature stages and adult) of the French wingless Harmonia axyridis to Aphis Carvines. The results showed that the predation functional responses of each development stages all fitted as Holling II model. After chi-square test, the results showed there were not significant differences between theoretic values and the observational values.
