Abstract/Summary:
The feed industry has made a very fast development and gets a huge progress since 1980s, and the annual output of feed is over 100 million tons in recent years. Now China has become the second largest feed producer and consumer in the world. Meanwhile, the aquatic feed in the total feed becomes more and more important. In 2005, the total aquatic feed output reached above 10 million tons, and the output in 2010 is predicted to be 31.2 million tons. Huai'an city is located in the north of Jiangsu province with many lakes nearby, such as Hongze lake, Baima lake, Gaoyou lake, Luoma lake et al. There are long history of aquatic feeding in Huai'an city due to its rich water resources. Nowadays some special kinds of aquatic products such as crabs, shrimps et al. are potentially needed, so the crab's and shrimp's feeds are greatly increased. Huai'an Tianshen Agri-Tech Co. Ltd, one of the biggest feed factory in Jiangsu, has rich experiences of feed production and sales and has many advantages in technology and market. The project of designing aquatic feed factory has a good foreground.The technology design of the project has absorbed advanced technology in feed production and adopted advanced equipments with annual output. The output of the project is 10000 tons per year, and the products include the feeds for shrimp, lobster, crab and loach. In this design, each workshop section and each important machine were described. Especially, pre-extrusion, micro crushing and enhancing conditioning are the most important parts in the paper. In this condition, the pellet of the crab can keep the shape for more than 4 hours in the water, so it is suitable for feeding with high utilization ratio. Compared with expensive animal proteins, vegetable proteins such as defatted soybean meal and expanded soybean are much cheaper. The replacement of animal protein by vegetable protein is the future trend. But the quality of the soybean and soybean meal is very important, because it can affect the results of the growth.The total investment of the project is about 6228000 RMB, the average annual sale is about 43630000 RMB, the net profit is about 1870000 RMB and the yield ratio is 17.8%. This project has better economical and social benefits. Therefore the implement of this project can accelerate the development of the crab or shrimp feeding industry.
