The Investigation Of Epidemiology And Histopathology On Edema Disease Of Piglet In Part Area Of Rudong County

Edema disease of piglet(ED) is an important disease in pig industry of China.It is an acute and diverging disease with high mortality that caused by some serotype hemolytic E coli.The serotype include O138,O139,O141.The vaccine were not satisfactory because serotype poor cross-protection and different serotypes in various regions.Although the ED is caused by hemolytic E coli,some important causative factors of ED include the worse breeding managent,weaning stress,fast growth which lead to morbility more high. nine counties in Rudong area of Jiangsu province were investigated for epidemiology of Edema Disease in Piglets.Amount to 1183 piglets were involved,approach ED epidemiology factors to prevention and cure ED from theory.Reseach about ED focus on pathogeny in the world,too less on histopathology.It is obviously significance to ED pathogenesis about reaseaching histopatholog.We take tissue from ED piglets or death piglet soon to histopathology observe when ED epidemiological investigation in Ruodong area.for in-depth study of ED pathogenesis,thereby effectively lay the foundation for prevention and cure ED.Aseptic to adopt intestine content and feces from ED piglet or death piglet soon with Maconkey medium pathogen separation and purification,biochemical test results showed that 14 strains were E.coli,the 14 strains were inoculated to ordinary broth at 37℃train and cultivated 24 h after the 14 strains were inoculated abdominal infection in 56 mice from 14 groups,injecting the same dose of sterile saline to control group,the infection of 56 mice attack After the strains have hind acroparalysis,death start 6h,all died in 48 h,and the mice died from heart,liver and kidney isolated from the E.coli infection,and 4 control mice are not unusual.The serotype identification use E.coli O standard anti-serum.Epidemiological investigation result showed that ED of nine countys of Rudong is caused by hemolytic E coli.The serotype of 14 strains include O139,O138 and O141,etc.O139 serogroups is main ones.Some important causative factors of edema disease of piglets include the worse breeding managent,weaning stress,nutritional contents more high,fast growth.Epidemiological investigation result showed that ED of nine countys of Rudong is caused by hemolytic E coli.The serotype of 14 strains include O139,O138 and O141,etc.O139 serogroups is main ones.Some important causative factors of edema disease of piglets include the worse breeding managent,weaning stress, nutritional contents more high,fast growth.Nutritional content of feedstuff investigation showed morbility of ED have strong positive correlation with crude protein level. Coefficient of correlation is 0.079 and 2-tail significance test is 0.So high morbility of ED in Rudong area is correlation with the high crude protein level of feedstuff.Pathological anatomy showed edema and bleed in different tissue,the Severity edema and bleed is found at the brain,stomach,duodenum,jejunum,lymph nodes. pathological histological examination showed that ED is the main organization to different degrees edema and bleeding,Histopathology is serosity apyogenous encephalitis,serosity gastritis,serosity Hemorrhagic lymphadenitis,hemorrhagic enteritis,serosity hemorrhagic pneumonia,serosity brightism.
