Effects Of Fresh Alfalfa And Silage Corn Stalk On The Production Performance Of Sichuan White Goose | | Posted on:2008-12-21 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:R T Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2143360248956520 | Subject:Agricultural extension | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The effect of fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk replaced basal diet in different proportion on growth performance and meat quality of Sichuan white goose were studied in the experiment,to preliminary study their effect on goose.210 healthy Sichuan white goose of 40-days-old were randomly divided into 7 groups with 3 replicates and 10 per replicate.The experiment lasted 30 days.The control group were fed basal diet,the test groupâ… toâ…¢were fed fresh alfalfa randomly on the base of 90g,120g and 150g basal diet;the test groupâ…£toâ…£were fed silage corn stalk randomly on the base of 120g,150g and 180g basal diet.The results showed that:(1)There was no bad effects with suitable proportion fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk.(2) The fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalik could decrease the ALT activity in serum of goose,and test groupâ… andâ…¡were decreased by 36.9%and 26.2%compared to the control group(P<0.05),and test groupâ…£toâ…¥were decreased by 41.7%,35.7%and 41.7%compared to the control group(P<0.05);the fresh alfalfa have significantly decrease on the content of TG,TC and LDL-C in the serum of goose(P<0.05);both fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk have insignificantly increase on the content of HDL-C in serum of goose(P>0.05).(3)The fresh alfalfa has no significantly effect on percentage of eviscerated yield,percentage of eviscerated with giblet,breast muscle ratio,and muscle fiber diameter of breast and leg muscle(P>0.05);silage corn stalk has insignificantly decrease on both percentage of eviscerated yield and percentage of eviscerated with giblet(P>0.05),and had insignificantly increaseed on breast muscle ratio of the goose;both of fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk had no insignificantly effect on pH of muscle(P>0.05).(4) The fresh alfalfa had significantly decreased the MDA content of leg muscle,and the largest decreasing amplitude was 24.2%,but had no significant effect on the MDA content of breast muscle and liver;silage corn stalk could decrease the MDA content just on high replacement proportion,but had no significan effect on the MDA content of breast muscle and liver;both of them could decrease the GSH-PX activity of leg muscle,but could increase the GSH-PX activity of breast muscle and liver;both of them could decrease the POD activity of leg muscle and liver.(5) The fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk could affect the immune function of goose,and the former could increase fabricius bursa indexes in suitable replacement proportion;the latter could decrease the fabricius bursa indexes and fabricius indexes;but both of them might decrease the spleen index just on high substitute proportion.Both of fresh alfalfa and silage corn stalk had no significantly effect on the content of IgG(P>0.05);but had significantly increaseed the content of IgM by 106.5%and 60.5%(P<0.05). | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Fresh alfalfa, Silage corn stalk, Sichuan white goose, Production performance, Meat quality, Antioxidization capacity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
