Populus euphratica Oliv. , Ammopiptanthus mongolicus(Maxim.)Cheng F., Haloxylon Bunge, Hedysarum scoparium Fish.Et Mey. , Nitraria L. , Calligoman spp. Widely distributing in verge of oasis,with properties of desiccation tolarant, resistanct to wind erotsion, tolerance sand burying,and the ability to break wind and fix sand. It plays an important role in the process of vegetion restoration in degraded ecosistem of Aride rigion. The increasing diseases caused by pathogenic matter, cause great serious damage to forestry every year. More and more studies have shown that endophytes has the capability to prevent plant from disease. In order to provide the theoretic direction, the Endophytes of sand fixation tree were studied in this paper, 6 kinds of desert vegetation collected from Deng kou and Ulanbuh desert, Inner Mongolia were investigated, isolated, identified and analyzed endophytic fungi, then biological characteristics to penicllum were studied. The result showed that:1. There were diverse characteristics for both the quantity and population of six kinds of Endophytes of sand fixation tree,and it had tissue specificity to the host. The composition of Endophytes was related to the distribution and season.2. The result of studied biologic characteristics of Penicillium sp., were indicated that the most suitable temperature and pH for mycelial growth were 25℃, and 5-6. Under the condition mycelium can maintain quickly growing speed,and take ammonium nitrate with main nitrogen elements. Penicillium took glucose and starch with main carbon elements. The dry weight of hyphae had positive correlation with the concentration of culture medium. More concentration of sugar had no inhibitory effects on the growth of mycelium.3. To comprehend the experiments of dual culture and spore germination,the result showed that penicillium and trichoderma had antagonism effect on pathogens. So the further studies on penicillium and trichoderma would be continued to develop new antagonistic effects.
