Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease is a serious infectious disease that is harmful to rabbit production. The mortality of Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease is more than 95% in new epidemic-stricken area and 70%-85% in old epidemic-stricken area. The disease brings enormous economic losses to the rabbit cultivation industry because of its explosive prevailing, high incidence and mortality. However, there are no effective medicines, and the rabbit can't get enough antibodies until 7 to 10 days after vaccination, so it can't provide effective protection in time. Therefore, the research on the protection methods before vaccine protection was set up is very meaningful for controlling the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease. This experiment discussed the effect of yolk antibody on the passive immunity defense through preparing high-titer yolk antibody against the high-efficient rabbit's viral hemorrhage. This experiment prepared the inactivated vaccine against rabbit's viral hemorrhage with the strain separated from the practice farm in 1998. After 3 times basic vaccination and strengthened vaccination to the common layers, the titer of yolk antibody (HI) could reach 14 (log2) and last for more than 7 weeks. Through the two-step salting-out method with bitter ammonia-ammonia sulfate and Ion exchange chromatography, we extracted the high potent yolk antibody against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease from yolk liquid. The challenge and protection test indicated that the rabbits injected with the yolk antibody 2.0/ml/kg for 3 days before challenge, the protective rate can reach 100%, and it had the same effect when using the high-immunity blood serum. the effective dose tested by the experiment was used to inoculated 3 groups rabbits 2 times every 15 days, the incidence of disease reduced significantly, compared with that of the past years.
