The birds were fed corn- corn starch -soybean basic diet supplemented with vitamin A 0, 2500,5000 10000,and15000 IU/kg respectively from 1 to 21 days of age. The results showed as follows:1 2500IU/kgvitamin A can satisfied basic requirement, and10000IU/kg vitamin A would result in the best growth performance of pekin ducks; and when the dietary add to vitamin A over 15000 IU/kg, the body weight and feed intake began to decreased.2 Vitamin A deficiency induced to the great increase of attack rated , and this could be aggravated with the time of deficient .3 While dietary vitamin A level was 0IU/kg, the serum vitamin A concentration was significantly decreased; and with the increasing of dietary vitamin A level, the vitamin A concentration in serum was increased.4 It was serious insult of duodenum while dietary vitamin A was deficiency, the increasing of vitamin A in dietary have a good enhancement to pekin ducks intestine.Experiment 2: Effects of Vitamin A and E,and Their interaction on Growth Performance, Blood Biochemical parameter and Bone Development in 0~3 weeks Pekin ducklingsThe experiment was conducted to evaluated the effects of vitamin A and vitamin E , and their interaction on growth performance, blood biochemical indices and bone development of pekin ducks. 720 1-day-old pekin ducklings were randomly allotted into 10 treatments with 6 replicates in each treatment, with 12 duck in each replicate. The birds were fed five levels of vitaminA(0,2500,5000,10000,and15000IU/kg) and two levels of vitamin E(10,and100mg/kg) in a 5×2factorial arrangement. The results showed as follows:1 Supplementation of 10000 IU/kg vitamin A and10mg/kgvitamin E significantly improved the growth performance at 21 days (P<0.05), and 15000 IU/kg of dietary vitamin A would result in the best immune fuction.2 Slaughter parameter was significantly improved when diet containing vitamin A 10000 or 15000 IU/kg and 10 vitamin E.3 Compared with control group, the activity of GSH-PX in serum were improved significantly by dietary vitamin A (P<0.05), and there were no significant differences in activity of SOD in serum among the vitamin A levels.4 While dietary vitamin A levels were 0 or 15000 IU/kg, bone calcium concentration have a tendency to be increased, and phosphorus concentration have a tendency to be decreased. The proportion of bone calcium and phosphorus was best when diet containing vitamin A 5000or10000 IU/kg,and vatimin E 10mg/kg. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | pekin duckling, vitamin A, vitamin E, growth performance, blood biochemical parameter, bone development parameter | | Related items |
