Investigation And Research Of The Palmae Plant Diseases In Fujian Province

In this paper,the diseases of Palmae plant were investigated and some are confirmed by Koch's postulates tests.12 kinds of Palmae plant diseases were identified by symptom observation and pathogen slice.They were Palm Graphiola Leaf Spot(False Smut),Washingtonia filifera Pestalotiopsis disease,Phoenix canariensis Clasterosporium disease,fish tail palm Ovularia disease,fish tail palm Phyllosticta disease,Phoenix canariensis Actinopelted disease,fish tail bacterial leaf blight,King palm Pestalotiopsis disease,Bamboo palm Alternaria disease,Phoenix dactvlifera Pestalotiopsis disease.3 diseases,which were Washingtonia filifera Sheath Blight disease,king palm anthracnose disease and queen palm anthracnose disease were identified and confirmed with Koch's postulates tests.Laboratory screening of fungicides for the pathogen of washingtonia sheath blight disease was also tested in this paper.The best fungicide to inhibit mycelia growth and spore germination was Carbendazim.
