Comparative Study On Animal Health Laws Between Canada And China

As a member of World Trade Organization, we must comply with all the obligations and rules it makes. One of the basic rules relating to the animal health legislation is that it must cover all aspects of the animal health and veterinary public health. But there are most differences between the world requirement and our animal health law system. Therefore, In order to fulfill this requirement of WTO, to promote the exportation of the animals and animal products, and to protect the national livestock industry, it is essential to perfect our animal health legal system. In the implementation of China-Canada Agriculture Development Projects, our instute just holds this Projects, and I participate in the research work of Canadian animal health legal system.This paper introduces and analyses the animal health legal system of China and Canada systemicly, reserches the trait of the animal health legal system of Canada, makes the expound on the difference between china and canada animal health legal system, and arranges the advance experience of canada animal health legal system and legislation mechanism. Finally, we gives some suggestions to perfect the animal health law system of our country and promote the construction of animal health legislation. Promise this paper could give some suggestions to the construction of animal health legislation of our country.
