| The research was conducted from May 20 to Sep.20,2007,at the typical grassland in Angsutown,KulunGacha,Etuoke Front Banner. We comparatively studied the effect of grassland vegetation,livestock bodyweight,grazing behavior under the condition of limited lifetime and continuous grazing in the warm season. The main result showed that:1. Compared with the continuous grazing,the height,coverage,abundance and standing crop of vegetation community were improved obviously under the limited lifetime grazing of 5 hour,6hour and 7 hour. Among them,the height,coverage,abundance and standing crop of vegetation community in the 5 hour grazing plot were both higher than 6 hour,7 hour and continuous grazing plot.2. The species diversity index,evenness index and richness index of limited lifetime grazing plot were both higher than continuous grazing plot. And the forage productivity of 5 hour,6 hour and 7hour grazing plot was higher than continuous grazing plot.3. The aboveground present biomass of main plant of limited lifetime grazing plot was higher than continuous grazing plot. Upward from the ground,the tuber weight of three main plant had a descending trend. But the weight of Leaves first had increasing trend than had a decreasing trend.4. The body weight of goat in 5 hour and 6 hour grazing plot were significantly higher than7hour and continuous grazing plot. But there was no obvious difference between the body weight of goat in 7 hour and continuous grazing plot. The body weight of sheep in 6hour was significantly higher than5 hour,7 hour and continuous grazing plot.5. The rate of ingestion of goat in 5 hour and sheep in 6 hour grazing plot were significantly higher than other grazing plot. Compared with the other limited lifetime grazing,the standing time and resting time of goat in 5 hour grazing plot was long,but the wandering time was short.And the standing time of sheep in 6 hour grazing plot was long,but the resting time and wandering time were short.
