| The introduction and acclimatization of the wild ornamental plant is protecting resources, maintaining the ecological balance and benefiting the offspring. It is also the important component of storing strategy of quality plant types in our country or even in the world at the same time. Launching the above activities, we not only make some precious wild ornamental plants protected effectively, but also utilize abundant wild ornamental plant resources fully, and cultivate more favorable seeds to enrich flowers types in the garden. These wild plants should play an essential role in ecological environmental protection and ecological restoration.Grasses,trees and flowers in Lushan are magnificent, It is well-known that this mountain is famous for the beautiful scenic spot and summer resort. In 1934, our country famous botanist, Hu Xianxiao,Qin Renchang and Chen fenghuai etc, established Lushan Botanical Garden, which has received the extensive concern from the academic circles of the domestic and international plant, and occupied the important status in China's scientific and technological history for a time. Since Lushan Botanical Garden has been built for over 70 years, it has obtained very big achievement at the respects of domestic and international introduction and acclimatization of plant resources. For example, large quantities of pine and cypress plants and azaleas with higher adaptability, higher ornamental value introduced both at home and abroad, are the main varieties of trees which form the mountain region garden view of Lushan as well as the main plant types of the forest cover. However, we are still deficient in the introduction and acclimatization, development and utilization of the local wild ornamental plant. Though someone ever made investigations concerning plant geography, the resources of the plant, vegetation type etc in Lushan, we are short of the detailed research report to wild ornamental plant resources of Lushan and current situation of its application. On one hand, the dispositions of varieties of trees and ornamental plants in the whole mountain garden are relatively single; on the other hand, rich and colorful wild ornamental plant resource of this mountain fails to be explored and utilized well.Around 2004 -2006, the author, on Lushan Mountain National Nature Reserve to declare protected areas, wild plant resources led the team for three consecutive years in Lushan Mountain Nature Reserve area, the 12-line survey Field collection, identification of a combination of methods to wild ornamental plants investigation, specimens were collected in 1145, 3400. Based on the wild investigation and the existing statistics, the author selected 580 species of wild ornamental plants, belonging to 115 families, 290 genera. The distinction accounts for the proportion are about 61.5%, 34.4%, and 26.4% of corresponding families, genera and species of Lushan. Among them, pteridophyte possesses 13 families, 13 genera, and 23 species; gymnosperm belongs to 5 families, 8 genera, and 10 species; dicotyledon has 87 families, 225 genera, 425 species; monocotyledon consists of 10 families, 44 genera, and 122 species. Therefore, developing and utilizing the wild ornamental plant resources in this mountain, we can not only increase the varieties of the ornamental plant, but also improve the unreasonable state of resource distribution and structure, which makes sure the coordinated development of ornamental plants in all kinds of garden. Meanwhile, we will select these varieties with good adaptability, easy cultivation and management, and ornamental value in the resources of the wild ornamental plant, so as to enrich varieties of afforestation of city garden, improve the urban ecological environment and offer more and better ornamental plant to meet the increasing requirements to environmental afforestation, beautification, the fragrant quality, and offer reference for the environmental afforestation, beautification of scenic spot of Lushan and a city.
