Cotton is an important economic crop in agriculture production,but also is important raw materials in textile industry.To improve its yield and quality is main purpose of cotton industry. This paper takes two different insect-resistant cotton and yumian 1 as materials,with yumian 1 as control,according to different boron concentration(0,0.1%,0.3%),divided two materials into three treatments,experimental plot is divided into six plots,planting insect-resistant cotton in 1,3,5 plot, planting yumian 1 in2,4,6 plot.Not applying boron in 1,2 plot(B0);applying concentration of 0.1% boron fertilizer in 3,4 plot(B2);applying concentration of 0.3%boron fertilizer in 5,6 plot(B3); repeated three times.Spraying boron fertilizer in bud stage,initial bloom stage and full-bloom stage one time.Application of boron fertilizer is 450~750 kg/km~2.Take investigation on cotton boll number,boll weight,lint percentage,fiber quality and seed quality of two kinds of cotton and take measurement on physiological and biochemical index(boron content,protein content,soluble sugar content in leaves,calyx,petal,and stamen)in different boron fertilizer levels.Research on plant height,number of fruit branch,cotton boll form and bud,flower biological characteristics of insect-resistant cotton in different stage(budding stage,early belling stage,boll opening stage)and contrast with insect-resistant cotton without boron fertilizer.The results show:1 Measurement on boron in experimental plot soilThis experiment shows content of boron in soil is 0.17 mg/kg,belongs to deficient boron soil2 Measurement on boron in each part of cotton and its variationThis experiment shows,the treatment of boron fertilizer can improves boron content in each part of cotton obviously.The change degree in each part of cotton is stamen>leaf>petal.Boron content in leaves degrease with the treatment of B2.3 Measurement on protein content and its variationThe experiment shows:protein in leaf increases obviously after boron fertilizer treatment, protein in petal increases slightly,protein in stamen has no correlation with fertilizer treatment between two kinds of cotton.4 Measurement on soluble sugar content and its variationThe experiment shows:soluble sugar content in leaves decrease,soluble sugar content in petals increase obviously,soluble sugar content in insect-resistant cottons' petals decreases slightly, soluble sugar content in yumian 1s' petals change weakly.5 Change of plant height,number of fruit branch,cotton boll form in different stage(budding stage,early belling stage,boll opening stage)and bud,flowers' biological characteristicsThis experiment shows:growth time of insect-resistant cotton is 4 days shorter than yumian 1.Increment of insect-resistant cotton's plant height is 0.56cm per day,yumian 1 is 0.63cm.In budding stage,contrast with treatment of B1 and B0,for the date of budding,B1 is about 10 days early than B0,and duration time of budding is 4 days longer than B0.In initial bloom stage,spraying boron fertilizer in 0.1%level for second time,B1 and B0 both get in the peak period of plant growth, in full-bloom stage,spraying boron fertilizer in 0.1%level for third time,increment of plant height decrease gradually.In initial bloom stage,for the increment of leaves,B1 is 0.35,lower than B0 (0.42).In initial bloom stage,both B1 and B0s' increment of bud reach the maximum,daily increment for B1 is 1.31,bigger than B2(1.28).In the whole belling stage,number of flower with B1 treatment is higher than CK.In initial bloom stage,daily increment for B1 is0.22,higher than CK(0.16).After boll opening stage,growth of cottons' nutritive organ stop basically,plant height and number of leaves have no change.6 Investigation on cotton boll number,boll weight,lint percentage,fiber quality and seed qualityThe experiment shows:Spraying different boron concentration(0,0.1%,0.3%),according to investigation on cotton boll number,boll weight,lint percentage,fiber quality and seed quality,the results show:the best boron fertilizer concentration is0.1%.
