360 Tao-yuan Chicks were selected to study on effect of different Zinc sources and Zinc levels on the performance,slaughter performance and blood biochemistry indexes.A 2×3 factorial arrangement of treatments in a completely random design was conducted.Two zinc sources(Zine-Hydroxyme-thioine and Zinc Oxide)were added at 30mg/kg,60 mg/kg,90 mg/kg.The Tao-yuan chicks were divided into 6 treatments(3 duplicates per treatment and each duplicates had 20 Tao-yuan chicks)randomly.the chicks were raised according two stages:3-48 days and 48-93 days.The performance and blood biochemistry indexes were determined in the end of each experiment.At the end of experiment,six broilers in each replication were slaughtered to determine carcass trait.At day 45,the apparent retention of zinc rate of different Zn sources and different Zn levels was studied based on the metabolism experiment.The results showed that:1.Performance:The ADG of the Tao-yuan Chicks was increased by adding Zinc. And it tends to grow by the increasing of the Zinc sources(P>0.05);The feed:gain ratio of Tao-yuan Chicks were deceased except Zinc Oxide(30 mg/kg)by adding zinc. The feed:gain ratio of Tao-yuan Chicks were deceased significant in prophase and whole experiment(P<0.05).The post-experiment had non-significant(P>0.05).2.Slaughter performance:Zinc sources had non-significant(P>0.05)on Carcass rate,Half eviscerating rate,Total eviscerating rate,Breast muscle rate,Leg muscle rate.Zinc sources had non-significance(P>0.05)on Slaughter performance.3.Apparent deposition of Zinc:The increasing of Zinc sources can obviously effect the Apparent deposition of Zinc(P<0.05);Apparent deposition of Zinc in the same Zinc sources shows the growing trends with the increasing of Zinc sources, however,The difference is non-significance(P>0.05).Apparent deposition of Zinc in the group of the Zinc-Hydroxyme-thioine is superior to or equal to the group of Zinc Oxide in the different Zinc sources,but had non-significance(P>0.05).4.Blood Biochemistry Index:There had no significant between two zinc source (P>0.05).But there had no significant on GOT and GPT(P>0.05)when adding zinc or not. 5.Serum Antioxidant Indexes:The serum SOD activity and MDA contents had not significant in the pre-experiment(P>0.05).With the increasing of the Zn levels, the content of serum SOD activity tends to the growing in Zinc-Hydroxyme-thioin groups,but Zinc Oxide hadn't;The serum SOD activity is obviously superior to the 60 mg/kg group when the level of Zn is 90 mg/kg(P<0.05).The MDA contents shows the deceasing trend in the different Zinc sources and Zinc levels(P>0.05).
