The subject investigated is a sapling semi-arid plantation where grows Armeniaca sibirica, Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica and Jinhong apple, and this plantation lies in Linxi Country in Inner Mongolia. Firstly, we measured different kinds of growth factors and detected how they affect the growing of the plantlet .Secondly, we used the gray relative analysis, and find the leading-role factors which influence the growth of the three young plant. The results indicated that the dominant factors affecting the growth of Armeniaca sibirica are altitude, size of planting hole, groundwater depth and direction and position of slope; Those affecting the growth of Prunus sylvestris var. mongolica are altitude, groundwater depth and direction and position of slope; Those affecting the growth of Jinhong apple are groundwater depth, spacing and intra-spacing, altitude, direction and position of slope. Slope and spacing and intra-spacing had little effect on Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica and Jinhong apple. The finding of these dominant acting factors of plantlet growing provide scientific foundation for management and reforestation of Armeniaca sibirica, Prunus sylvestris var. mongolica and Jinhong apple which are in the similar areas like that .
