Crossing experiments were conducted among four breeds, including Germen Mutton Merino, Poll Dorset, Suffolk and Mongolian Sheep, under the condition of mainly grazing in Xilinguole Prairie of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and supplying concentrate properly in winter and spring time. The research use technology of multiple ovulation and embryo transfer (MOET) in order to product more lambs under the condition of less sires and dams. We checked the performances about every experimental stage, such as birth weight, mean weight of three month age and so on, estimate the effects of heterosis and choose the best combination. All we have done want to improve the performance of mutton sheep in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and to provide overall data for the breeding of new specialized mutton sheep strain in China.The results of analysis of variance and Duncan's test shown that, the filial generation about four breeds crossing have average birth weight 4.77 kg; mean weight of three month age was 37.45 kg, mean weight of four mouth age was 44.95 kg, which can completely supply the mutton sheep in the market. Furthermore, analysis of variance also shown that, all combination has no efforts on weight gain during every stage. The day weight gain among birth to three month age was above 300 g per a day, upper limit was 408.33 g per a day. Average day weight gain was 363.12 g per a day. It proved that, Mongolian Sheep, being a famous local breeds in Inner Mongolia, has far distance in evolvement system and different genetics compare with other three foreign breeds. The four breeds above have better cross heterosis when they cross. It is obvious that more heterosis obtained among crossing with breeds in far evolvement distance.
