In order to promote tree breeding strategy and enlarge Sabina vulgaris population, the factors affect rooting is researched systematically. The results are summarized as follows:(1) Rooting can from both of callus and roots primordiums of Sabina vulgaris. Rooting from the callus will decrease when the growths of hardwood cutting increase.(2) The hardwood from asexual mother tree is better than from sexual mother tree, but the rooting of hardwoodâ…¢is opposition. The hardwood from type of perpendicularity mother tree is better than from the type of grovel. There are no different between the type of two color mother tree.(3) Hardwoodâ…£has best effect of rooting at the hardwood with different growth degree. The suitable hardwood remains 12cm length,6~8mm diameter and 2/3 leaf .For hardwoodâ… ,â…¡a ndâ…¢the best cutting time at the middle of June and for hardwoodâ…£middle days of May is the best cutting time.(4) The effect of the soaking in water, hormone, wounds, lens hood on the rooting ability in hardwood cutting of Sabina vulgaris were studied respectively. The results showed that applying the wound can promote the rooting index of hardwoodâ… mostly, use 25ppm or 50ppm ABT No.2 had the best effects on the hardwoodâ…¢.(5) Stronger light illumination better than weaker light illumination for hardwood rooting. High temperature and humidity benefited to roots occurrence of burgeon, but didn't good for hardwoodâ…¢.(6) The best couple for hardwoodâ… when soaking in water is soaking 24h then cutting in the originally soil and for hardwoodâ…¢is soaking 6h then cutting in the sand. Use the 50ppm ABT No.1 then cutting in the mix soil had the best effects for hardwoodâ… when pretreatment by hormone and use the 50ppm ABT No.2 then cutting in the mix soil had the best effects for hardwoodâ…¢.(7) The rooting effect of side branches is better than burgeon. In the mix soil, the side branches1 from seedings has the best effect of rooting. The Pitch mode of cutting is better than vertical.
