Study On The Synthetic Technique For Scatter-fed Xianghuang Chick

Different feeding methods such as scatter-fed or confinement were comparing in this thesis.We investigate and research existed feed form, then apply the modified method to the specialfarmer. The item was carried out in south area of HuNan province—Main area producingXianghuang chicken. The result shows as follows:1. It is very important for owners to pay attention to green covers, landform andhypsography, carring capacity per unit, environment around when choose a field for raiseXianghuang chickens. How to select and reasonable utilize the farm were discussed in thisarticle.2. There are different modal sheds at Hengyang,Yongzhou and Chenzhou, which ofHengyang model is the best after modified. After modified, the shed's ground is dry and theatmosphere is better, this shed possess the advantages such as simple and economical and so on.3. According to the analysis of 5.75million egg from47,550hens scattered at 31 seed henclutches,the quality of egg from Xianghuang hens scattered-feed is the best. The quality of eggfrom April to July is the best, and the rate of fertility of hen and the quality of egg from thesecond mouth to the fifth mouth after onset of lay are good, and the preservation of egg shouldbe 2 days to 7 days. Moreover, we suggest that the performance of fertility should be improvedwhen selecting good breed.4. The age of stop heat is different because the air temperature change from every seasonwhen Xianghuang chick scattered-feed. The chicken may stop heat at 7 days when the airtemperature is highest at July and August, and at least 68 days when the temperature is coldestfrom December to February next year.5. We find that the productive profits of chicken supplied with water includingChinese-herbage ingredients(treatment group) were significant more than that withoutChinese-herbage ingredients(control group). And the rate of survival and sell of treatmentgroup were higher than the control group 4.8% and 7.2% respectively, at the same time, the costof feed of treatment group were lower 0.5yuan per than control group,and the pure profit of treatment group is more 1.46yuan per chick than the control group when chick were sold.6. In the research, 11 thousands Xianghuang hens (6 groups) which were under combinationmanpower illumination with natural light were compared with hens breeding at farmer undernatural illumination. It is know that reasonable illuminating process can elevate the rate ofeligible egg by 21.93%. Research also shows that the performance of fertility under natureillumination is the best.7. After studying the special nutrient requirements of Xianghuang chick and some generalformula, several commercial formulas for Xianghuang chick were given in this paper.8. The profits of Xianghuang chick when pened is more 1057.6Yuan than housed, andbrowse is more 1585.4Yuan than housed, calculated on the basis of 1000 chickens.9. The profit and the measures were provided to how to rare Xianghuang chickens atwoodland.
