Basing on the requirement of rice growing and rice harvest and making use of themorphological analysis, This thesis gets the demand for the rice combine which issuitable for the rice harvest in Dongting Lake Region. About model choice of the ricecombine in Dongting Lake Region, the first making surveys in the rice fields andgetting the criterion of commenting, then by indefinite comprehensive judgment, it putsthe different type which are ready for use in order. On optimum allocation, it uses linearprogramming to build up the maths models and suggest the best technical programswhich require the umunber of harvesting rice. At last, taking YuanJiang for a realexample, It evaluates the mode choice and optimum allocation of the rice combine. Asthat the mode choice and the have a healthy guiding role in the development of the ricecombine in Dongting Lake Region and even in Hunan Province.As the research shows, only these type of rice combine are suitable for the riceharvest in Dongting Lake Region: the whole—feed or half—feed or carding machineswalking by itself with caterpillars. In recent years the consumers have bought and usedsome types of good rice combine for the rice harvest, The machines have so littledifference that consumers can first consider"longzhou"and"lianfa"(if they don't make itwork across large areas). Now isn't suit that the allocation of the rice combines inDongting Lake Region. In the future, We should take advantage of big or medium ricecombine in Dongting Lake Region.
