In modern botanical garden afforestation, the plants used for covering areapplied more and more in order to enhance the ecology efficiency and the effect ofappreciation. But many plants used for covering will wither and become yellow underthe high temperature, this will influence the effect of appreciation. The resource of thewild plants used for covering is very rich in our country. They have fine characteristicssuch as high value of appreciation, good adaptability, easy management and so on.The wild plants used for covering chosen for the experiment are: Lyaimachiaalfredii; Lysimachia congestiflora and Lysimachia christinae. As the experimentalmaterial, we use Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' as a comparison. Through studies onits physiological character of resisting diseases, we can not only provide theoreticalgrounds for the application of Wild Lyaimachia in gardens but also select someexcellent seeds of good resistance for plants used for covering.The experimental study consists three parts:1. Six treatments were set up in the experiment, the concentration of PEG is0%(CK), 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%. The roots of four kinds of plants are soaked in thesimulate test of soil drought. Each treatment is done in 4 pots, the time is 2 days,4 daysand 6 days. We have examined the physiological index such as relative permeability ofplasma membrane, SOD activity, proline content were determined. The results showsthat the relative permeability of plasma membrane of Lyaimachia alfredii is the lowest,the activity of SOD and POD are relatively high, the osmotic adjustment substances isaccumulated more in Lyaimachia alfredii. But the results of Lysimachia congestiflora isopposite. The method of obscure mathematics is used to evaluate their droughtresistance ability comprehensively based on physiological and biochemical indexes.This research confirmed that the ability of drought resistance of Lyaimachia alfredii isthe higest, Lysimachia christinae 'huaye'and Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' are thesecond, the lowest is Lysimachia congestiflora.2. Five treatment were set up in the experiment, that is 15℃,10℃,5℃,0℃and-5℃With 20℃as comparison in the man-made climate box. Each treatment is done in 4pots. The physiological index such as the relative permeability of plasma, protectiveenzyme activity and osmoregulatory molecules in leaves of four Lysimachia species arc determined on the forth day. The results shows that the relative permeability of plasmamembrane of Lysimachia congestiflora is remarkably higher than the other three kinds,but the activity of SOD is remarkably lower than the other three kinds, Prolinedecreasesearly and fast. This research confirmed that the ability of low-temperatureresistance of Lysimachia congestiflora is the worst, Lyaimachia alfredii and Lysimachianummularia 'Aurea' has higher low-temperature resistance ability.3. Five treatment were set up in the experiment, that is 25℃,30℃,35℃,40℃treatment. With 20℃as comparison in the manpower climate box. Each treatment isdone in four pots. The physiological index in leaves of four Lysimachia species aredetermined on the fifth day. The results shows that the relative permeability of plasmamembrane of Lyaimachia alfredii is the lowest, the speed of SOD activity increased fast,the proline accumulated more. The relative permeability of plasma membrane ofLysimachia congestiflora is the highest, the activity of SOD is low, the prolinedecreased fast at 40℃. This research confirmed that Lyaimachia alfredii and Lysimachiachristinae 'huaye' have the higer high-temperature resistance ability, Lysimachiacongestiflora and Lysimachia numrnularia 'Aurea' ars the worse.Through the experiment, it has proved that Lyaimachia alfredii has the strongability of resistance of drought, low-temperature and high-temperature. It is a fine wildplants used for covering and suitable to use in garden-like surroundings. |
