Studies On SOD, CAT Of Citrus Under Water Stress And Gene Involved In Water-stress

Citrus is one of the most important fruit crops for its rich nutrient and economicvalues.Citrus is mainly distributed over 135 tropical and subtropical countries. Water-stress is one of natural disasters, even the area where rainfall is plentiful also easyinvolved in the drought disaster because of uneven rainfall and abnormal climate.Hence, the SOD, CAT activities of citrus under water-stress were studied by useAnhuahong [C.unshiu], Newhall[C.sinensis (L) Osbeck], Shatian pomelo [C.grandis (L.)Osbeck] and P. trifoliata(L.) Raf. [P.trifoliata(L) Raf.] as material, and gene involvedin water-tolerance also were studied by use Weizhang [C.unshiu Marc.],Anhuahong, Taitian[C. reticulata Blanco], Tangcheng [Citrus Sinensis], Bingtangcheng[C. Sinensis Osbeck], Newhall, Shatian pomelo, Etrifoliata(L.) Raf and Citrange [C.citrange S.] as material. The results are as follows:1. The total change trend of SOD activities of citrus increased before 70ï¼…waterloss rate, then the activities decreased rapidly if water continue loss, The SODactivities of Etrifoliata(L.) Raf is the highest in the four materials, Newhall is thelowest, the total change trend of CAT activities of citrus also increased before 40ï¼…water loss rate, then decreased, it is can be see that the CAT activities of Etrifoliata(L.)Raf is the highest, the activities of Newhall is the lowest.2. Discovered the NCED and AOS gene of Weizhang, Anhuahong, Taitian,Tangcheng, Bingtangcheng, Newhall, Shatian pomelo, P. trifoliata(L.) Raf andCitrange, by use PCR method. Found they share at less 97ï¼…homology with NCEDand AOS of Satsuma in gene bank(AB219174.1) after cloning and sequencing.3. Did not discover the ZEP gene and SOD gene of Weizhang,Anhuahong,Taitian, Tangcheng, Bingtangcheng, Newhall, Shatian pomelo, Etrifoliata(L.) Raf. andCitrange.4. NCED gene and AOS gene of nine materials were expressed afterwater-drought treatment.
