Calcium was deficient in calves, the proportion of Calcium and Phosphorus in blood was disbalance seriously. The content of Vitamin A (VA) in blood plasma for 68% in 22 calves was examined to be lower than normal level, lackcy of VA was possibly the main cause of blindness occurring in Guyuan district. Occurrence of the disease had very important relations in particular with the minerals especially. metabolization disorder between Calcium and Phosphorus. Cattle blind ophthalmopathy was new situation for the actual production which meets, initiated by comprehensive factors.3.
