The forest ecosystems plays an important role in the global ecosystems, which is closely related to CO, concentration in atmosphere and has an obvious effect on composition of atmospheric elements. To improve the estimation accuracy of forestecosystem carbon cycle would help forecast the change of climate in the future. At present, the man-made forest area in China come to be more than 53 million hectares, being number one in the world, but there are few data on the carbon cycle of forest plantation ecosystem in the Loess plateau, especially to man-made forest to environment had influence including self-control water source, Maintenance water and soil, Purification air, The fewer data on man-made forest carbon cycle, the air monitor and the research material in the loess plateau, limiting the exact estimation on the carbon sink or source of the man-made forest ecosystem in the loess plateau, and the function of the adjustment on the climate. So the major forest plantation in loess plateau has been study on the carbon storage,soil respiration and carbon balance to provide the reference on the carbon cycle on the whole world ecosystem in loess plateau.The results were showed as follows:1. According to the investigation result we may know various tree seeds aerial parts biology had the obvious difference on the fixed carbon ability. But the underground partial biological fixed carbon ability difference is not big. The overall says, Robinia forest had a strongest fixed carbon ability , Unit fixed carbon ability had achieved 9.9 t/hm2 (including soil), Pinus's ability is 6.4 t/hm2, the lowest is Platycladus (3.5 t/hm2). Forest land soil fixed carbon ability had the difference, the soil condition is the mian reason .we can consulate research contrast in the different ecology region .the ability of carbon storage in North Qinling slope (Hu Xian ecology area)is higher than other ecology area.2.Has a contrast analysis to the planted forest different granularity root system biomass, discovered Huangling and in the Hu Xian planted forest root system the 5mm root system biomass occupies the total root system 50% and above 55%, take up a important parts. Huangling and Hu Xian several kind of planted forest 0-2mm root system biomass had a same tendency , All assumes the degression tendency, the treetop level the 0-2mm root system biomass is rich in the Robinia tree. But 2-5mm root system of forest change is obvious in Huangling and Hu Xian, The Robinia tree, the Pinus, the Platycladus planted forest 2-5mm maximum value appears generally in second,three layer (10~30cm), then along with it reduction.3.We can find in the Soil organic carbon investigation,there were different among the ecology area in carbon storage, But In the study of relations between the0~80cm soil total nitrogen and soil organic carbon,soil total phosphor and soil organic carbon, had the several kind of equation of motion and the correlation coefficient,the result is that the content of total nitrogen had a significant positive relationship with the soil organic carbon(P=0.01);But in the analysis of the relations between total phosphor and soil organic carbon ,we not finded the significant positive relationship between them.4. We can know to the measuring dam to the different basin area runoff characteristic analysis. Although basin runoff size were difference, But we can see to the to the rainfall response, The basin 1 precipitation speed of response is earlier than the basin 2 obviously, Simultaneously the basin 2 falls in the water the process is slower than in the basin 1 obviously, the basin 2 had certain store and regulate function for the rian ,manifested the man-made forest had the self-control water source,and the maintenance water and soil function, had the positive function to the ecological environment.
