Effect of different irrigation low limits of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation under plastic film on some physiological indexes, yield and quality and water use efficiency of muskmelon. Take conventional drip irrigation as comparison. The results showed: Alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation has the some influence on muskmelon's growth: plant height and leaf area of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation are smaller than conventional drip irrigation, but the stem thick has the increase. If the soil moisture control is suitable, it is not big influence on the muskmelon plant's morphological indexes, but the excessive soil moisture forces can have the disadvantageous influence to crops' growth, and finally cause the serious underproduction.Alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation has the obvious saves water effect and the higher water use efficiency. the yield of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation all to be lower than conventional drip irrigation, but the water use efficiency is obviously higher than the 40.81 kg/t of conventional drip, A1 achieve 57.27 kg/t, and other treatment achieve above 60 kg/t, and A1 and A2 yield only decrease by 2.71% and 4.34%.and irrigation amount reduce 30.66% and 34.98% respectively compared to the comparison. Alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation is not big influence on quality of melon: the content of soluble solid has the increase, but single fruit weight has reduces, the content of fruit Vc and the fruit hardness of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation have not big difference. The treatment with low limits of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation of 75%compare with the comparison, the output drops not remarkably, and the quality of melon has some enhancement, and it has the effect of obvious saves water effect and the higher water use efficiency. Therefore, 75% field water capacity was the optimal irrigation low index of alternate partial root-zone drip irrigation under plastic film on muskmelon planting.
