According to antler-deer data in germplasmatic and breeding resources, the system, thatwas the "FOOL" and "WYSWYG" system of the antler-deer genetic resources and breedinginformation management system, was programmed by the method which was OOP'stechnology and the interfacial Man-machine conversation. The management of antler-deer ofgenetic resources and breeding information were realized by the system in our country and thedata base was set up. A plentiful data was orderly processed such as digital edited, cleared up,collected statistic and so on. Then the best scheme was confirmed after analysis data. Thecomplex data and information can become simpler, more scientific and systematization, whichis easy for producer to consult and use. Except of this, this system can supply the resourceinformation of antler-deer and the best breeding scheme for technical staff. The process ofselecting and breeding new breeds was picked up and generation space was cut by this system.Its future meaning for improved modernize management in breeding deer.The system assembled individual data of antler-deer and the data of antler-deer datacollection and management and genetic analysis that were measured in produce performance.The system included four sub-systems: the system management sub-system; informationmanagement sub-system; the breeding management sub-system; the report sub-system.1. In the system management sub-system, it designed these functions which wereoperating right management, modifying user's password, and super counter, copying datashect,guiding datasheet and WORDPAD, and so on. The system was logged on by setting up user'sright and was worked under available user's right. The setting of user's right was controlledonly by the system's manager, which can ensure the system work successfully, data's securityand rationality. It provided convenient counter for temporarily count.2. It was designed in the information management sub-system for such as to add, inquire,modify and delete and browse data which antler-deer genetic resource information, baseinformation of deer, draw in antler information, velvet measurement information, doe breedinginformation, buck hybridization info, velvet deer growth determine, correlative literaturemanagement and correlative literature searches, and so on. There was Data on-line trace checkfor ensuring single data. And it processed the function of statistic, compositor and outputtingdata table by shortcut key in six kinds of form at any time. 3. It was designed in the breeding info management sub-system to estimate the BLUP'breeding value with a flow chart, account heredity parameter, analyze the genetic improvement,inquire about pedigree and the herd inbreeding condition, and so on. In estimating BLUP'breeding value, firstly the system automatically creates the data base of parameter and thenumber of deer, then chooses at the base of that and computes the value. This kind of designmode accelerates the speed of analysis greatly. In the sub-system, we designed individual ofquery of pedigree tree, selection and establishment of mating scheme and so on. Queriedperformance includes not only the tested observation but also the breeding value here. Thepractice results suggest that the guide way to select bred velvet-deer and institute selectedmating plan was greatly convenient and useful for the deer breeder. It can easily query theindividual ancestor (parents, grand-parents, great-grand-parents) and full-sibs and half-sibs andprogeny as a reference for the velvet-deer breeders. It was set many ways and conditions toinstitute selected mating plan in the mate.4. The report included all respects of breeding, which can basically fulfill with all kinds ofuser's demands.
