| This paper studies the embryology features Tilia amurensis of by means of paraffin wax. This observation describes megasporogenesis and microsporogenesis, the development of female and male gametophyte, the development of embryo and endosperm. The main results are as follows:1.The anther wall is composed of four layers: epiderm, endothecium, middle layer and tapetum respectively, and the tapetum is secretory type.2. In the meiosis cytokinesis is simultaneous type, and microspore tetrad is tetrahedral. The mature pollen grain is three-celled type and has three colpates.3.The ovary is 5 locular, and each locular has two ovules. The ovule is bitegmic, crassinucellate. The wall of ovary has much pilus. The female archesporial cell and megasporocyte are multicellular, of which only one cell is functional. The megasporocyte divides into four megaspores in line type after meiosis, the chalazal megaspore is functional.4.The corresponding relationship of the development of stamen and pistil: The microsporogenes and male gametophyte are earlier than the megasporogenes and female gametophyte.5.On the blossom day, embryo sacs consisted of 7 cells with 8 nuclei. Embryo sac is of Polygonum type.6.The embryo genesis is of Solanad type, and the endosperm genesis is of Nuclear type. |
