The Research On Annual Ring Of Tree Analysed System

The math software of Matlab was used to read the annual ring image obtained by scannerin this paper. It takes the image as matrix and distills interested area according to the matrixanalysis and computation. After the image pretreatment of image grayscale, contrast sketch,brightness adjustment and denoising, it adopts three different image division method, EM,Kmeans and threshold, to obtain the Binary-Image of annual ring. It uses some math arithmeticof the software to realize the analysis, computation and summarizing of the number and widthof tree annual ring. The tree annual ring mensuration software is workout based on the platformof Matlab software in this paper.The digital tree annual ring mensuration and analysis technique and developed software inthis paper can replace the traditional method of using manpower distinguish and mensurationmethod to determine the number and width of tree annual ring. It can improve the workingefficiency and precision of mensurating tree age and growth increase, promote the supervisionlevel of forest resource dynamic in our country, get good economy, ecology and society benefit.
