Nowadays the pathogenic animalcules of Cucumis melon is still a primary trouble and will still baffle the quality and output of melon in Xinjiang. In order to annihilate the pathogen, people tended to increase the dosage of pesticide. But under these measurements, the disease of melon didn't disappeared, but to a worse degree, the drug-fast competence of pathogenic animalcules are becoming stronger. At the same time, the harm of the pollution from traditional pesticides becoming more serious. These phenomenons are asking scientists for appropriate settlement. The discovery of antifungicidal and antibacterial peptides undoubtedly has offered new ways of thinking for the treatment of this kind of disease. In this study, Drosocin,Dromycin and Andropin gene were coloned. Then the transformants were obtained. After the transformants were induced by galactose, the expression product was then examined by bating liquid cultures and SDS-PAGE. The result indicated that the product exhibited antimicrobial activity. The result of the expression explained that the products of the three genes do launch a feeblish defense to the pathogenic animalcules of Cucumis melon. The result of the study launched groundwork to the proceeding to the destination of melon disease resistance breeding.
