Spatial distribution of soil fauna in different habitats of the sunny slope in Zuojia Natural Reserve was investigated from the perspective of of ecological series, and the structure of soil fauna, distribution of dominant species was taking into account. By using grey relevant coefficient, we analyzed the relationship of topographic, vegetation and soil factors with individual, community and diversity indexes and the relationship among different environmental factors were also discussed. We analyzed the dominant environmental factors in research region with principal component analysis and correlation analysis, at the same time the relations of different environmental factors was taken into account. We dicussed the relation of soil fauna with topographic and soil factors through CCA ordination and regression analysis, and we could obtain the domainant factor affected ecological seriea of soil faunas and distribution pattern of different soil fauna in the microtopography. Results showed that the species were very rich and the density of soil fauna was excessive in research region. The number of individual was in evidence on the distribution of ecological series, and the number of community was not evidence in research region. The distribution of vertical diversity of soil fauna was all surface gathering, and decreasing with the increase of soil layer depth, but the velocity was different. The surface gathering of soil mesofaunas is obvious. The result of biotope distribution of soil faunas showed that most of soil fauna was excessive in research region. The result of correspondence analysis showed ecological series of macrofauna of four habitats were evidence in research region. Through grey correlation anylysis, we found that topographic, vegetation and soil factors were closely related with soil fauna. The change tendency of soil temperature, soil moisture, soil organic matter, soil bulk density and physiochemical factors were affected by topographic factors. Those factors were made up of the domainant factors of ecological series of soil fauna. The distribution of soil fauna was obvious affected by soil and topographic factors in the sunny and shaddy slope. Slope ascending with the increase of heigh above sea level, soil temperature was negative correlation with soil moisture, and soil moisture was positive correlation with soil organic matter, pH, total N and total P. Soil moisture was remarkable correlation with physiochemical factors. The change tendency of soil organic matter, pH, total N, total P was approximate. Soil and topographic factors were main factors which affected ecological series of soil fauna. The distribution of Lumbricidae, Enchytraeidae, Lithobiomorpha, Coleoptera, Diptera was obvious affected by soil moisture, soil organic matter, total N andtotal P, and the distribution of Formicidae, Geophilomorpha, Araneida, Acari was remarkable affected by heigh above sea level, slope and soil temperature in research region. Ecological series of soil macrofauna was obvious affected by topographic, soil temperature, soil moisture, soil organic matter and total N, and soil mesofauna was not remarkable affected by soil and topographic factors in research region.
