| In order to find the reasonable mode of apricot-cotton intplant.5-year-old apricots had cultivated at Harbark village in Luntai. from Jul.2005 to Sep.2006,the microclimate effect ,growth and the soil water content change were studied. Spatial and time distribution also with the change of microclimate factors including temperature ,humidity, light intensity and wind speed in apricot-cotton intercropping systems with different tree spacings have been analyzed in detail.1. By studying the microclimate of apricot-cotton intercropping systems, the results showed that: comparing to the cotton monoculture, changes with different extent of all the factors had appeared in intercropping systems, light intensity was the most obvious.
