Water is necessary for life and the foundation for city.With the development of urbanization, the problem of the water is outstanding.On the basis of large sum of articles about relative literatures, a systemically study of annually monthly and daily rainfall data in Shenyang from 1971 to 2003.Analyzing the rainfall character in Shenyang,especially, analyzing the time character of the storm, finding the time character of the storm, moreover, and the rainfall pattern is concerned.Computes and draws up the frequency of shortlasted rains with DPS.Advising the relative theory and methods in the mode of rainwater resources.Lastly, taking the Shenyang Agriculture Unversity campus as the example area, putting forward rainwater resources planning for Shenyang Agriculture Unversity and computing the amount of rainwater and design the reservoir, refined the theory of rainwater resources.According to the analyses of rainfall data, examples, the main results and conclusions are as follows:(1) Through to the systemically study of annually monthly and daily rainfall data in Shenyang from 1971 to 2003. Obtains the obvious seasonal characteristic.The rainfall mainly concentrates from Jun to Sep.The storm distribution are less in every year, and concentrates in the multi-rain season. The daily rainfall amount occupies below 10 mm. Light rain number of daysalways rains days 72.05%, the rainfall amount occupies 20.84 %, although the rainfall amount is not most, but the rainyday number falls quite to be many; The date rainfall amount from 10 to 25mm moderate rain days although are not many, but the rainfall amountaccounts for 28.58%; The date rainfall amount from 25 to 50 mm.Heavy rainal though days are less, but the rainfall amount accountsfor 31.14%; Therefore as slightly as the heavy rain will be the rainwater collection use main object.(2) According to the theory of probability, namely the analysiscomparison, uses with the year ultra great value law.
